presently running mud buddy adaptor with carb, having no issues, but I am being told the EVT intake will increase my RPM'S by 200 rpms. Some people say I will increase speed but loose low end, and others say I will gain no extra speed. I am looking for any suggestions if the EVT intake will make a difference in performance, good or bad. My mods are decked heads, cam, carb. w/adaptor,timing key, exhaust, larger pushrods. I run a heavy boat, 16/60 GoDevil with a Go Devil surface drive, top speed is 33mph with plenty of low end power and carrys a load great. I am just looking for a little more speed. |

It would be better. How much?.....can't say for sure. May need to make some carb adjustments to compensate for the changes in air flow. Every little bit helps. Makes for a nicer, tighter/closer carb setup also. |
