GET A 5500 HD OR HAVE A FULL STAGE 1-2 ON THE PRODRIVE LIKE THE PRODRIVE JUST SLOW

I'd use periods, commas, and question marks.

Then I'd definitely just do some work to your current motor. That way you still have reverse, and you'll have more power.

Before you do that though, has your boat just recently slowed down? Or is this a new boat or rig to you? It could be a different issue other than the motor not having enough oomph.

Is this a real question.

You should sell your Prodrive for scrap and pick up a MB for sure. I own a scrap yard and can arrange pick up. I'll give you $700.

If youre only getting 15-17 loaded Id suggest you look at the boat -- I have had 2 guys - myself - a dog - decoys - guns and blind bags and ran 22 in deep water -- I was running 26 empty -- with heads and exhaust I run 25 loaded and 29 empty

I have a 36 PD on a PD boat myself. I got a stage one done to my motor an its a totally different motor from stock. I think u would get what u want out of ur motor if u put a stage on. You would get a lot more load carrying an also more top end. What kind of boat u have ur PD on.

Post subject:  Re: PRODRIVE

U might as well go with a stage 2 since u already have the carb. All u have missing is head work aftermarket cam an stainless valves

Ok , I thought that was the stage one . A little confused about the stages . New to the mud world . Thanks a lot for all the info could you send me some crawfish :D

Post subject:  Re: PRODRIVE

The stage one I have is. Heads decked after market cam stainless valves a marsh mellow exhaust K&N air filter an stock carb jetted. The guy that did my motor work said all I have missing from a stage 2 is the Mukini carb which I plan on adding soon. The crawfish are still kind of small where I'm at still. U use to live in La?

I went from a 5500bamf to a pro-drive and will not look back. I have bps pistons, rods, cam, rr, Q muffler, and a mikuni kit. The only mod work the engine is missing is the heads. I run a 1748 go devil hull. I run 32 with me and the dog. I had 4 men (180 avg pounds) My 10 year old son , the dog and a full hunt load and run 25 in deep water. My 5500 ran 1mph faster loaded and 2 mph faster empty. Hope the helps.
