your voltage regulator on the side of your motor, check it with a voltage meter to see what voltage it is putting out. |

Check the red wire from the VR with a voltmeter- should be putting out 12V at idle and up to 14.4 at ~3500 RPM. |

red wire is not reading anything on a voltage meter |

Check the yellow wires from the stator for AC volts on the other side of the voltage regulator, if there is voltage there, its the regulator needing to be replaced. |

put a voltage meter on it today and it's not reading anything from the red wire or the plug that comes from the fly wheel |

Have u ever crossed the pos and neg wires on your battery? This will toast your regulator if u have.... |
