I seen this boat in the drive through today and didn't know what the he// he had going on. There was a radiator in the front of the boat and hoses running everywhere.

Hmmm ... Might possibly be just stickers and a old cowling of an outboard but would be sweet if someone really had the knowledge on how to configure this

How many times you recon he get stopped by the game warden for an over powered boat. Wether its a 150 or not, I wouldn't flaunt it on a 18 tin can. Boat probably rated at 60 tiller?

Post subject:  Re: Pro-Drive 150!

I drove it before they could keep it cool and did 41 mph in literally 400 yards or less with another guy in the boat. At that time you had to pay more attention to the temperature than the GPS. The muffler fell out which supposedly helped the cooling issue and gives them more time to run it. It actually has two radiators in it, the second is laying horizontally in the bottom (both have electric fans) but it literally has a stock 36 lower unit. It hit at least 48 mph yesterday and is one hell of a ride!

Post subject:  Re: Pro-Drive 150!

Wouldn't keel cools stop the radiator and cooling issues?

Damn, that bitch is turning some rpms from the sound of it. Sounds like my vmax 225 when I'm in it.

Any work on the prop?

Author:  QuackQuackBlast [ Wed Jun 05, 2013 7:02 pm ]
Post subject:  Re: Pro-Drive 150!

Not yet. He had my buddy's Hopkins 14 on it but that prop was bent from the day it arrived in the mail. Pretty sure he is still running the PD 36 blade but not absolutely positive since I didn't run it last weekend. I will ask him when I see him again and if it isn't, I will correct myself.

He said they were running the stock PD prop while we were at the swing.

I built a 15' aluminum mud boat with a v-6. The keel coolers were welded on the inside the boat, and used as longitutinal braces. I used 2-6'' channels approx 8' long. Cooled the v-6 just fine.
