I am new to mud motors and this may sound like a dumb question but it is a serious one. What does CDI stand for and what is the difference of the CDI and the non-CDI motors? Advantages and disadvantages? Any info will help. Thanks in advance |

Potted coils, lighter fly wheel, and the wiring holds up better in salt water They also idle at lower Rpms.... A cdi can purr at 8-900 rpm. |

U can replace the coils w high rev coils.. U r correct. But this only needs to be done if u r on the current rev limiter of 4350 consistently |
