I am in the process of moving my gas tank to the front of the boat. Well I am doing this I am installing a fuel filter water separator in lieu of the inline fuel filter I have. My gas tank has a ball pump on it right know. With moving the gas tank to the front will the ball pump still work properly or is it a waste of time. If it will work should I place it before the fuel filter water separator or after. I am going to mount the fuel filter at the stern of the boat. |

Don't know where it is supposed to be, but all of mine are between the water seperator and the engine. Seems to work fine and easy to get to. |

I put mine before the filter to where it lays on the floor at me feet. If the fuel pump went out I could pump it with my foot while driving. |
