 Choke
On a 35 my choke doesn't stay out. CLeaned it up and in order to choke it I have to hold it in the choke position, or it will open back up on it's own.

 Re: Choke
that aint the cold-natured kohler youre used to crankin' on.hold the choke and she will fire off before she turns over 4x.the motor is balanced enough that you can hold it up with the choke handle.you prolly won't need the choke till december anyway.rember, dont fix it if it aint' broke.

 Re: Choke
Mess with the linkage where it runs along the motor. I was having a problem with my choke knob pulling out while running. I moved the linkage around slightly until I found a place where the choke work correctly and then I zip tied it to the motor at that spot.
I'm not sure how it works on the GD 35's but you can also tighten or loosen the clamps on the motor that hold down the choke linkage.
