Post subject:  Marsh Mellow on Pro Drive with Hydraulic Reverse question?
I recently had some head work done on my motor. Good speed gain and great low end power gain. If I spend $525 on a Marsh Mellow do I have to dent it to make it work on my motor? I was told I would have too. Just wondering. I should also see better performance with the engine breathing better. What y'all think guys? Thanks

Yes you have to make a small dent to clear the reverse ram, but not enough that will be noticeable or hurt performance in any way. Your only other options are to gut stock exhaust or a bps Q.

I think it's been the same two just keeps getting brought up. They do sound good though :lol: Best thing to do is build a custom exhaust. I've been trying to talk someone into making one out of plain old carbon steel. It might rust but at least it wont crack. :lol:

That's messed up that when you buy a 550 dollar muffler you got to put a dent in it, and the bad thing is it don't last everything breaks on it.

Thanks for the input guys. I'm going to buy a stock muffler and have my welder do the rest .
