I know the question has been ask a billion times, but I cant seem to locate the old forum, and suck at using the search function anyway. Ive heard horror stories about problems with stock mufflers. Im about to purchase a 35GDSD, and am wondering what, if any, muffler, or muffler modifications can be had to offer some HP gains, eliminate the loose baffle issue (or whatever problems theyre having) but sill appear kinda stock and not be too loud (I guess Im starting to get old  )

My question is, can you cut all of the baffles out? How much back pressure do these motors need??? If i remember correctly, somewhere on the old site, it said very little. |

You can gut it all out no problem, even add 1 or 2 more exit ports. |
