Just wondering if anyone has installed a pedal like in a go kart instead of using the hand throttle? I have a beavertail and I'm not a fan on pushing down the little ball constantly with my palm. Anyone give it a try? Let me know. thanks! |

I wouldn't do it too much could go wrong if the tiller came out your hand when your standing on it imo. check out some brake/clutch levers or maybe a bps throttle would be a little easier on your hand. |

Mount it on top of the handle like a GO-Devil. Then, you can wrap your pinky around it to operate the throttle. That's how I do it. |

lol banded.. I have a slow boat 13 hp... its not going too fast. I make long runs on the Mississippi and holding that crappy beavertail knob down is a physical Pain in the arse... was thinking of a foot pedal and actually using the kill switch... vrummmm vrummmmmm |

If you're having to hold the knob the whole time the lever doesn't have enough friction. Tighten the center nut enough so the throttle doesn't return to idle. |
