ok guys I just installed my mikuni. my motor is definitely a different animal. idle and throttle response is night and day. my question is this. I definatley gained more load carrying ability and maybe a little too end but it seems to run out of prop or something. basically it runs the same speed at 3800 Rpms as 4100 Rpms. is that just all its going to do or is there something I can change. maybe a three bald prop. I am running a mudbuddy 12.5 big blade now. any ideas are helpful. thanks |

I'm not sure what size jets and how carb is set up. the Carb was set up by boat dr. I need to do a comression/leak down test. And i am running a 32" outdrive. |

mine is doing the exact same thing. from 4100-5000 rpms my top end does not change. steady 26mph with a 2 guys and a load, in a non mud boat. also running a 32" outdrive. I know my valves leak, but nothing terrible. I can only assume its prop slip. im running a 167.5 main, and eclip on position #2. |
