27hp pd.. got spark back. not good under load.
Alright gents. you guys helped with the no spark catastrophy so i figured i'd give you anouther doosey. this thing is really agrevating my wallet. I have changed out switches and coils and plugs and fuel filter. went out this morning after running driveway rpm's for two days. thought all was well, but under load motor will not reach top rpm's.. hell it barely wants to run under load. thinkin clutch but just not sure. talked to peck and he really didn't have much help after i told him all that i have been doing. i mean; could valve spacing be causing this. it just seems to me that if it where a valve spacing issue that even driveway idle would have complications. i don't know. let me know what you think. It's just wierd that the only problems i am having are in the water under load. seems to run great in driveway. any help is greatly appreciated. thanks.

I had that problem, had carbs rebuilt and added an external fuel pump and it fixed it. Mine wasn't getting fuel very well, would run it's ass off in the driveway, soon as that prop hit the water it would run like shit.
