does anybody in s. etx know where i can get a plastic air filter cover and knob for a 36 pd? pos fell off the other day. Or will it hurt to run it a few hrs without a air filter?

when I lost mine, I dug throught the cabinets and found a cheap square Gladware/Tupperware bowl and retro fitted it for a quik fix. You'll have to cut a hole on one side. Then paint the outside black so that you won't look special. lol

also take your outer foam filter and soak it in oil then squeeze it out the best you can, it will help keep some of the water/dirt out .

If you look at the pics you can see that gladware dish on the back of BB's prodrive,it was lookin special that day
Mine fell off last night but it was from an impact with a low bridge a few months ago and it finally fell off,got one from a local shop this afternoon.

thanks yall for the help. i never even thought about the tupperware bowl thats a good idea
