I currently have a EVT intake with the Mikuni carb.... I know for a fact that I'm getting to much air the motor for the little bit of mods that I have because if I dont roll into the throttle slowly, it will have a bog that doesnt go away until I let off the throttle and then roll back into it. I want to experiment with my stock intake and an adapter. Where can I get or who can I contact to get a hold of an adapter to go from my stock intake to the Mikuni carb??

Depends on which Mikuni carb you have.. I had an adapter CnC'd and cost about $125 w/ the 3rd shift discount.. If you're using the Super BN then talk to Hoyt.. He was making them in the beginning..

Sounds like the carb needs to be adjusted?

Do a search for "scary fast power" they make a insert for mikuni and other carbs. It makes them act like a spread bore. They are well made and cost about 100 bucks the dirt bikers like them a lot.IT helps bottom end and mid range, If you are running a heavy load a gear change would help but you will loose top end.

You may be giving it too much or not enough from the acc pump setting.
Until I put in the scary fast plate noting helped my bottom end with the 45 mikuni, stock had a better hole shot, but no midrange .

I would take that as you don't have a tuning manual.

www.mikuni.com- HSR Tuning manual.
