Where is the best place to pick up a replacement Tiny Tac for my Prodrive? I'm sure there are places on the net that I could order one. It can't be that hard to replace... Thanks Yeaux |

I suggest buying from somewhere in person so you can see the manufactured date, ie prodrive, to make sure you don't get one that has been ticking on the self for a while. |

Buy em directly from tiny tac, or from a high volume dealer for the reasons J noted above. |

Trail tech TTO. Been using it when my tiny tach went out. It will also store the highest rev during that runtime. When you kill the engine, it will flash highest rev, then reset for next crank. I just wish it was back lit. |

Word of caution: If you see a "Marine" version of the tiny tach, don't buy it. It won't work on the V-Twin Briggs, according to Tiny Tach. It's no more or less waterproof/corrosion resistant. It's filtered and designed for outboard use. |

We dumped tiny tach completely. We found one that works on several different ignitions, you can set service intervals, and best of all there has been almost no failures in over 200 units. With tiny tach we would replace 1/10 BPS is not a sponsor so I won't post a link, but you can get them from Boat Doctor |

Looks like the ones they use are manufactured by OPD, but I could be wrong because the BPS ones say BPS on them... they are half the price of a tiny tach on amazon... http://www.amazon.com/Tachometer-Meter- ... B00O3DNY0I |

Has anyone tried these? It's the first backlit one I've seen at a reasonable price. http://www.amazon.com/tachometer-motorc ... 0E93JHXJ21 |

It'll work perfectly fine like that. Just have to remember which one has the original hours on the motor |

Bringing this back from the dead.... I've got a dead tiny tach too at 170hrs. I really would like something backlit but I'd also like to mount it with screws instead of cheesy 3m tape. Anybody found anything in the last year?? |

I have a MyChron 5 hooked up to mine right now... https://www.aimtechnologies.com/kart-da ... -mychron5/ Earlier in the post I mentioned having a backlit one. It worked great, but I cut the wire right at the unit. It also mounts with 2 way tape - which I always have trouble with. https://www.amazon.com/Tachometer-Water ... cklit+tach I have a cheap one off Amazon right now that has two ears with screw holes, but no back light. It's cheap, but it works. I've used one of these on a home made go kart. I'm actually hunting for the same thing. Post up if you find something good. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0049 ... Think I might give this one a go. I like the idea of knowing cylinder head temp. AndyTach Digital tachometer, thermometer and hour meter (Air cooled engine) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01CXMMMHG/re ... tzbRBPN7Y7 |
