 CHOKE LINKAGE
Well finally upgraded to a Mudbuddy stock 35, after years of just using an outboard. Third time I took it out I pulled the choke out to start and the entire rod and linkage came off. I re-installed it put I don't think it is correct because it seems to be in a bind. Does anyone have a picture or diagram? Any help would be appreciated.

 Re: CHOKE LINKAGE
End of the choke linkage should be in the hole in that cam on the linkage plate where the locking clip is. May need to adjust the sleeve in the front that goes through the cowling, nut on the front and back to adjust it a little forward or backward. Knob should pull out smoothly and stay out until you push it back in.

 Re: CHOKE LINKAGE
Hey Gary et al:
I removed, disassembled and Reinstalled my new to me MB35 carb and now the choke knob will not stay out on its own. Rod is in correct hole on linkage plate. Any ideas here?

 Re: CHOKE LINKAGE
Ordered a new choke linkage. I guess if you don't pull choke rod out of linkage plate before removing front key switch panel enough times and pull the choke past retaining clip in linkage it will break.
