Wanted to share some info on 2 products I just found out about. deadbird8, on this forum, has been porting & polishing the intake system for Mud motors. I got one of his kits and istalled it in 3 hours with a few tools. The kit consists of a ported/polished intake maniflod, p/p carb to intake elbow, new carb spacer, p/p air cleaner elbow & modified throttle shafts. The work on these parts is very nice. The other part is a Marshmellow exhaust. This is a stainless muffler that has some very nice TIG welds, brackets that are strong as hell, and is just as quite as the stock muffler. It does not extend above the stock air cleaner or stick out any wider than the heads on the engine. The sound is a deeper more mellow tone than stock. These 2 products made an amazing differance in the performance of my stock 35 MB. The engine idles smoother and at a lower rpm than before. I had to trim motor up to get the prop 1/2 way out of the water to see 4000 rpm. Now it will run 4000 rpm trimmed all the way down. This was an increase of around 300 rpm. Throttle response was greatly improved as well. I can strongly reccommend these products to anyone wanting more power without loosing the govener, stock air cleaner, or draining the bank account.
