 Briggs EFI heads
I was wondering if anyone who has a new briggs efi or works on one knows how the heads are holding up with the improved valves/seats. I thought I may get some input to help me make a decision.

 Re: Briggs EFI heads
Thinking about going to efi or using those heads on your motor? What's going on with your motor?

 Re: Briggs EFI heads
Can't possibly be worse than what you have.

 Re: Briggs EFI heads
I think a set of worked standard heads would out perform sock EFI heads....
Not sure if you had planned on bolting stock EFI heads on a carbed motor, but not sure that would be all that productive vs having yours worked. Shaved and a good valve job would get it right.

 Re: Briggs EFI heads
the new efi heads are supposed to have the valves and seats cut differently. I do know that they are a different part# but that's all I know. The reason I made this post wondering if anyone has taken one apart or had one with a few hours that could comment on them firsthand as far as the difference or improvement over the old valves. All that being said anything could be an improvement over the old design as they were.........shitty.......... real fuckin shitty!
