I still cannot get the brake line bled. I can get it to work then on the next stroke nothing. Finally took it to a motorcycle shop. He said it was the master cylinder piston. My question is what brand of master cylinder is it so I can buy a rebuild kit? Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk |

From what I can tell its a Polaris part for a Sportsman 500 HO. I doubt there is a kit. But you can get the parts from a local Polaris dealer. |

Okay.... I have a new master cylinder, new line, new generation 4 caliper. The fucking thing will still not bleed. The same damn problem I had with the old master cylinder. I pump it like hell and the lever is hard. I let go of lever then I have nothing. I have put a vacuum on it and pull straight fluid. I guess I will be running a GT until I can figure out what the hell the problem is. Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk |

LOOK really close and see if you are not loosing pressure at the caliper piston O ring. No sounds of fluid leaks under pressure there? Honestly you have seals in the Master cylinder, and the caliper. The line is JIC fitting to seal off the connections. Try this. SLOWLY press lever to tiller handle and hold. Crack a bleeder open and close it as fast as you can. Do that about 4 times. This will make sure the Master cylinder is bled. Then go onto pumping to bleed each caliper HALF. |

Funny this topic is the first one I read. Does anyone know what kind of pressure or amount of force is applied to the caliper when reversing? I am trying to do away with the hydraulic and go electro mechanical and not buy the high dollar retro kit and put it on a 3 way switch |
