So I was running the boat the other day , short run around 10 / 12 miles or so , and about half way my motor just dies. I thought WTF! But after a few mins it started right back up and ran great like it all ways does. Go to my area that I wanted to fish stopped fished a bit, motor started back up no problem did this all day. When I started back to the ramp after about a few miles It dies again , this time It wont start back up. After about an hour It started up no problem ran great until til I got close to the ramp dies again. This isn't acking like a carb problem, seems like and electrical problem so when I got home I checked my kill switch and this is what Ive found, so correct me if im wrong I pulled one side of my kill switch wire on the back side of it and the motor still runs, Ive did this on both wire and the motor still runs, I pulled both wire and the motor still runs. Is this right or wrong. Also thinking reve limiter , You guys have any info to help me out? The motor is a 06 35 van guard.

Well I'm not sure what's wrong with the Reve limiter but , I cut the green wire and put butt connecters on it to see if it would happen. So I started the motor and after a few mins its would dies. so I disconnected the green wire and the motor started right up and run great. While it was running I reconnected the green wire and my motor died again , so I can only assume that's the problem. With the wire disconnected the motor would run along time. While it was running I reconnected the wire back one more time, this time the motor didn't die and I thought I was back to square one , but after a few more mins it dies again. Just need to order a new one , just need to figure out where to get one.
