 27hp Kohler mods So I am looking at a few mods for my 27 Kohler. I already have a upgraded intake and 2bbl carb, 30hp heads, and exhaust. I was looking on Midwest supercub at the stroker crank upgrade. Not a lot of money and from talking with the guy a MWSC he said it'll add another 10hp and up the torque substantially. My plan is to get a new boat and motor after the 17-18 season. Anyone have any experience or reports on upgrading a 27?

Re: 27hp Kohler mods Run a GDSD, pushes my 1848 wareagle 21 with just me and no gear, but I think I could a good bit more out of it for not much more. The stroker crank at mwsc is a little over $400. not bad for the stated power increase imo.
