2012 GTR trim ?

 2012 GTR trim ?We were out today and the trim seemed really slow and at one point seems like it didn't work to go up and down but then every other time it worked just fine it's always been slow since day one going up sometimes just wondering what it could be wondering if maybe the unit itself is going out or if it's something simple

Re: 2012 GTR trim ? SLOW and erratic work/don't work is a Good sign the motor shaft seals are letting Fluid into the motor housing. It needs to be serviced.

Re: 2012 GTR trim ? Remove the motor and clean out the fluid in the housing. Replace the bad Orings, and refill the unit with oil.

So still doing it on and off with the trim not working or just being really slow more so just being really slow so today I did some digging took it apart fluids seem to be full so I'm leaning towards it being the motor where can I get the motor or do I have to go direct from Gator Tail

Re: 2012 GTR trim ? GatorTail just buys it and puts it on. Does yours still have the sticker on it? I looked at mine when I was prepping it for pain, and there was a brand and part number on it.

Re: 2012 GTR trim ? the whole thing. GT wont sell you parts for it. They do not repair these, Only replace. If you need one let me know I can get you a trim unit.

Re: 2012 GTR trim ? If it were mine I would open it up and see if I could replace o rings/seals. Can't hurt if you got to buy a new one anyway. If you decide to do that take pictures and post em up so we can see the insides
