What is the caliper of choice that would be best for replacing the original. It has gotten hot I'm assuming that's why it's not getting a solid and flat pressure on the pads. Thus, angled wear and poor reverse. |

Those are bad about that. It's time to upgrade to the gen 4 which is really the gen 1 setup. Here is a thread about it. |

Gen 4 upgrade is the best caliper to swap to. 2 Piston, adjustable pads for proper engagement. It is just under $300 I belive. New caliper, new mounting block, and the needed hardware. |

Anyone know why they changed it in the first place? If the gen 1 was the best option, why the gen two and gen three, before going back to the gen 1 and calling it a gen 4? |
