 No gains! I modded my 32 hp prodrive this week. Heads decked .045, polished exhaust chamber and lightly hit the intake side, deltas oversized manley valves, deltas 305 cam and ported the intake manifold. Still running the stock carb. Also, mm xx exhaust. I have seen next to nothing in gains, maybe a little more torque getting on step but zero added rpms (4100)or speed. Im running a hopkins clever prop on a 1648 boat no load at 26 mph. Any body got any ideas or info?

Re: No gains! We recently put heads , exhaust and stock worked carb on a buddy's rig. Boat is a 1648 ribbed ol bass boat .Rpms went from 3700 to 4100's.went from 27 to 28 only. Much quicker boat but 28 with 1 0r 3 ppl. Boat drags water bad. What hull you running? Btw you are probly lean on fuel

Re: No gains! Make sure you correct the governor setting to at least 4750-4800 in neutral so it is NOT hindering your performance. You should see close to 4500 RPM

Re: No gains! It was the stickers. I slapped one on the cowl and instantly got 4500 rpms! Haha, nah i did order a lectron today though. Im over piddling with this cotton pickin governor!

Re: No gains! It's the spring! It's sickening when you build one the way yours is built with stock carb and someone forgets to put the new spring on and it only makes 38 HP on the Dyno. Change spring and it make 45
