 37EFI Mods
Thinking about doing a few mods to my 37EFI PD and the one thing that has kept me from it this far is the fear of sacrificing reliability. What I've been looking at starting with is a stage 1 kit (heads, exhaust, tuner) which was as described by the shop doing it. I'm not a speed guy, just would like to get a bit more load carrying ability, without sacrificing reliability and still maintaining ease of use. Shoot me a few opinions on what you guys think of the scope of work I'm thinking of having done.

 Re: 37EFI Mods
Call Delta Performance. Calen can explain the reliability within each level.

 37EFI Mods
JJ....have already talked to the shop that would be doing them cabout the work and they tell me the mods are very reliable. I was just hoping for some more input from the MMT guru's.
Hmm....not what I was hoping to see CB.

 Re: 37EFI Mods
I've got 60+ hours on a delta stage 2 (level 3) 37 gtr. Solid, reliable power. No complaints at all. Great guys to deal with after the sale also.

 Re: 37EFI Mods
The shop is Franklin Small Engines, which I've heard nothing but great things from.

 37EFI Mods
They did also tell me that by upgrading it to a stage 2 and adding a cam that it would be a pretty significant increase in speed and load carrying ability. So that's on the table as well...

 Re: 37EFI Mods
your gonna have enough problems with a stock motor, why make your motor even more unreliable?

 Re: 37EFI Mods
I'm not the speed demon type but I do travel 15 miles one way to the camp in deep water. I would really just like to be able to carry a load better than I currently do.
