Alright fellas.... New member here from Southeast Michigan. I have questions with getting more speed out of the ole Gal. its on a 1448 Alumnicraft (Model 1470). It has manual trim and no reverse. During scouting, we got 2 guy and no gear to 19mph (phone calculated). But if you throw one more person in it, or a decent amount of gear, tops out around 8. I do not need crazy torque as im usually in minimal vegitation. When loaded, it seems as the prop is getting cavitated and isnt using the full amount of HP. Is this a prop issue?? im just using the normal 2 blade it came with. Any info would be ideal. I know im not going to breaking any speed records but a 2 mile hike takes forever at 8mph.
