Called GD but they are out for holidays so thought I'd ask here.
Looked at the manual but nothing there wrt replacing it

The main steering/pivot bushing is worn out. It's between the steering plates with a big bolt thru it.

Anyone ever change that out? Looks like you would attach the engine to a hoist, unbolt it and lift the engine and insert a new bushing, though not sure how that gets inserted.
Appreciate any info.
Thanks,
LT

Talked to Warren at GD. Said to replace the bolt which will take care of about 50-60% of the slop. Seems to have done the trick.

When the holes get real sloppy you can weld large washers the size of your bolt to the flapplate and frame. Then use a little longer bolt. Makes it goodntight

its a 2005 I believe. Yea, Warren mentioned about welding on some pieces. Changing the bolt helped a lot. I was thinking of looking for a metric bolt that was a bit larger than 2/4 but it's good for now.
