Can anyone provide a diagram for key switch or tell me which wire is a "key on" hot and ground? I thought I had it figured out but they are only hot or grounded in neutral. Trying to find a key hot to turn on the leds in my switches.

The red/white wire going the fuel pumps out of the black tiller handle box will be Key on, Or also the gray wire is also an ignition on. (both come from the same lug on the clutch switch.
Ground is the black wire on the block.

I guess I should've stated it is a CC, I didn't figure the key switch would be different. I don't have the red/white wire. I tested the grey wire and didn't get anything, ill have to try it all again.

Same key switch..
console will be a solid red wire that's acces on turns into a purple on the engine harness.
THe gray from the key feeds the clutch, and a red takes off from there aswell that feeds the engine fuel pumps.
Basically take from the red off the clutch or the red off the start relay.

Never trust wire colors. Always check for yourself. Just randomly hooking shit up is a good way to start a fire.

Or blow up starters....

I wasn't being an asshat. Would have been easier (and 100% accurate )to put a meter on it than to start this thread. I was being serious!

Gray is hot with key on. It also feeds the solid red to turn on the fuel pumps. The ground in the key harness is brown, kill is black, orange is 12+ all the time, and yellow is start

Unless someone had a bad day at the shop or you bought your rig used and the harness has been tampered with.
