 4400 Black Death
What fuel/water separator do you recommend for this motor? I was thinking a Racor 10 micron filter, but they rate them per GPH (Gallons Per Hour) so do not know which one to buy of if I should even buy the Racor,,, Its what I know, I have it on my off shore boat.

 Re: 4400 Black Death
If you use it on your outboard, it should be fine to use on your motor.

 Re: 4400 Black Death
I'm using a transom mount Yamaha Water separator, takes a Wix screw on filter. On my BD 45. Been changing filter every spring. Motor has the stock vacuum style fuel pump, pulling thru 16' of 3/8 fuel line. 3/8s into Filter housing 1/4 to inline filter and carb. Havn't had any water issues since installation.

 Re: 4400 Black Death
on the 4400 Black Death.... what oil filter do I get, and how much oil does it take. I am picking my boat up next week and just want to get the oil and a spare oil filter while I'm at it....

 Re: 4400 Black Death
See my post on water separator, usually on a short run you can get by with 1/4" I.D. for longer runs larger I.D. hose might be needed. Makes it easier on pulse diaphragm type fuel pumps. If electric pump is used in line it doesn't make much difference. I'm using 1/4" from separator to carb.

 Re: 4400 Black Death
Using the Google search and mmt or mudmotor talk in the search brings you to the topics already covered on this site concerning your search term. Use it. Plenty of people that don't frequent here anymore have posted lots of good information to answer about 98% of the questions that have been asked the last 6-8 months here. You're missing alot of the detailed info about exactly what your asking because of your refusal to not use Google to search this forum.
