Need a solenoid for my PD
but I'm hoping there's a less expensive, reliable option. Briggs 825418 is going for $130 or more. I'm a little surprised, didn't know the frickin windings were gold plated!
Any hope of rebuilding one back to health?

Yep. Find a local starter shop. They'll get you fixed up.

Re: Need a solenoid for my PD
Russ is gonna send me a bomb so I can bring the action over here.
Thinking about a titanium shroud after I bolt this thing on.

Dude, yes on the shroud, but you should also get a Kevlar vest and wear a helmet.

Re: Need a solenoid for my PD
OK, I can take a hint. I'll be running a full face helmet as well.
