New from BPS but know a little bit. This exhaust is mounted to existing holes in the heads and not to the crankcase bolts. They are using slip fit expanded joints like Marsh mellow does. It comes with a baffle and is a few decibels louder than the Q but a lower tone and adds about 2.5 hp without baffle per dyno tests, 1.5 with baffle. Made from American made quality SS and all American made.

Ever seen vehicle gain a bunch of torque with long tube headers? Well they accomplished something with the long primaries here. How much IDK, I do know longer primaries will make more power than a can exhaust any day of the week. Take it how you want it.

But it came from BPS, so hate away.

I read that it showed 4hp gains on the dyno. I read it on the internet so it's got to be true right

2hp gain over Q....I believe this is with baffles.
Optional baffle to bring decibels close to Q, but much deeper.
Slip fittings to combat cracking on vibration prone motors
Bracket is rubber mounted, and bolts to head, eliminating crankcase cover problems.

Don't like this pipe, buy a voodo or a marshmallow or a Mac or gut a stiocker. No one is forcing y'all to buy shit. We are just telling you what it is like the op asked. Looks like a fine pipe and the longer primaries have to give you some gain In hp. It only makes sense. There are a bunch of pipes out there, don't like one buy another, pretty simple concept.

I saw one in person. The welding appears to be much better quality then all of the Qs I've seen.

The slip stuff with the springs... great idea, hopefully it holds up.

Like Maxxis and other said the longer the primaries the better. I was told recently that 40 some odd inches is what was needed... Voodoo was the first to have longer primaries, this might be the next leap.


More competition means better for us consumers. Don't forget that.

Crossover has some long primaries. Not sure about comparing it to a rapid though.

I started up my buddy's loud ass gatortail with dual exhaust last duck season. I instantly had a great view of a couple thousand ducks flying a mile high all around the lake.

I just don't see where anyone said they didn't like it (performance wise) . Maybe the hate will show up from other folks, but I ain't hating. Matter of fact, I run a Q I got for 250, I like it pretty good. I think the new one's ugly for sure. Not a fan of how far it sticks out the side of the motor. My biggest gripe on any of these pipes is the price. None of em should cost what they do, but it's all supply and demand. If people keep paying 450 and up, they're gonna keep making them.

The Setx feller had a modified Crossover years ago that was a fast pipe! long primaries with the right merge into a single collector is the way to go. Its all about useable torque. I'm eager to see how it performs as the Voodoo is the only other True 2-1 performance exhaust.

As for looks you can only do so much with pipe and trying to achieve longer primaries with a merge and keep it somewhat compact.

Anyone know the if it's near as load as the voodoo? I would like to see a decibel comparison before I purchased one. Those unbaffled voodoos are stupid load!

Competition is good, but in this case it's done nothing for prices. Maybe this one is 1 hp more than that one, but prices are still more than it would cost me to get 3-6% more power out of an exhaust for my car.

When talking about price,,, i will say that my personal longtube setups its over 400$ in 304ss parts. I know mine is above average in materials but cut these guys some slack. It aint shit to spend a grand on a nice set of headers or exhaust when it comes to some other toys

Yea, I actually really don't have a problem with the price of most of these things. I've built a few for the kawi's because there isn't really anything else available for us. It probably costs me at least $300 bucks just in materials to build one by the time I take into account the stainless, wire, gas, cutting and cleaning materials, etc. I wouldn't want to do all that work for $200 bucks labor, and what I built would look like shit anyways.

The only one I got a good chuckle out of was the guy who said he was gonna build a budget friendly exhaust with no welds, and do a ton of r&d before releasing it, only to turn around and sell a welded exhaust, rushed to market, that was priced higher than almost all the other available options.

That and I sure seem to remember the stainless works exhausts being a lot cheaper when EVT sold them, but I guess GT is just as greedy as the midget nowadays, and they're gonna bend over their customers anytime they get the chance.
