Post Solenoid Drawing Battery Down
So, if anybody's been keeping up, I installed a reversing solenoid and hooked up a toggle switch to replace the junk trim/reverse switch on my console. For some reason or another, this set up seems to be drawing my battery down. What do I have hooked up wrong?

The hydraulic pump works fine throwing the motor into reverse/forward. I did notice when I hooked a new battery back up, the regressing solenoid does make a click sound. What's going on with this thing?

Thanks.

How it's wired, now.

Take your power away from your toggle and see if your solenoid stops clicking.

Yeah, maybe have some bleed through or something going on with the switch. Nothing jumps out at me with your wiring, but the solenoid should not click at rest. The clicking is the spring energizing. If you've put a meter on it and don't see anything wrong, it is possible the solenoid is defective.

I'll pulled the power off the switch this afternoon....now that there is more light in the day....and see what happens.
