Looking for the good/bad on Boss drive, anyone here have any experience with them?

I'd imagine one negative is they are probably expensive to fix if you manage to break gears

I haven't ran one either, but have heard they were slower than normal.
I like the fact that there is no electric clutch. Gears just like an outboard.

We have a local dealer for Mud Buddy and Boss, Friends have Mud Buddys with mixed results, but mostly motor issues, so I may go EFI. It's hard to google what i'd call good reviews on mud motors, especially Boss...
