I have a 2015 35 GTR with stage 2 upgrades. The current carb is factory but was jetted. Would I be able to put a Mikuni carb on and it preform better than the factory carb? Or would it simply flood the engine with gas?
Thanks

I would think it would be better than a jetted stock carb. The stock carb was one of the most disappointing features on my once stock motor.

It is a good upgrade. Pm or post here if you have any questions about specifics.

Two options. Get a Mukuni carb kit, OR I can have your Stock Carb bored... Either way you you will see more improvements.

Backwater performance systems has carb kit with everything in it for the upgrade. It has 42mm Mikuin carb in the kit. Would it be best to have the complete kit so there wouldn't be any surprise's during the install. Or am I barking up the wrong tree?

Plus or minus Thing!! Some say buy parts individually to save dollars, to me it was easier to order from BPS. Everything in the box with directions, makes it about a 1 hour job or 2 hour if beer and a helper are involved!

It's just significantly more expensive than piecing it together yourself. For some, it's great, for others, it's not a value vs ordering the specifics ourselves and saving some coin.

I think I will go with the kit it just seems like the thing to do. Guys thanks for all of your help this site is awesome. I Will most likely have helper and a beer during and the shine afterwards. Because if we have the shine during it will probably end upside down :D Thanks guys.
