Boat was running fine until I hit a big boat wake... then it felt like my engine just jumped out of gear. Now from mid to high throttle it slips and revs out to about 4500... and it feels like it jumps out of gear. got it back on the truck and found a single bent pin under the clutch.
My question is... can I bend that pin back straight or do I need to buy a whole new clutch?

Just to update. I pulled the motor, dropped the clutch assembly and found 4 of the 6 clutch fingers broken at the inside rivets. Not sure what would cause this. I have 139 hours on the motor. No mods.

A new clutch will cost you about 200-250 dollars.

Called Peck and a whole new assembly is $200. Just the armature is like $88 and that probably would fix it but I dont want to risk something else being broken or warped or risk being stranded again so Im replacing the whole thing!! ;)
