Post The right muffler
Have a GTR 35, with a marshmellow. Always have leaked. Thinking about a Q. Any suggestions?

Is it leaking because of cracked welds or gaskets? I've had a marsh mellow for 3 years and have had zero issues with it.

My BPS Q cracked (noticed the cracks) at 250 hrs, repaired it, 30 hrs later, leaking gasket, ordered Composite compression graphite gasket that someone suggested.

Leaking gaskets, since 2012. Just thought by now something else would be out there?

CB performance gaskets are the best i've found. order number 2801. They come 4 per pack because they are for a vw engine. Thick and reusable, at least twice as thick and the thickest gasket i've seen.

Have you looked at the new BPS's exhaust? Looks good to me and if I ever start having issues with the mm i'm going with the new BPS Rapid R pipe? Supposed to be nearly as quiet as the Q but a deeper tone and has slip fit tubing with springs to help eliminate the cracking issues. Also made in the US with US stainless steel.

cut slits in the slip flange.. Then put a clamp around the flange after to secure it. That is the majority of the leaking issue with a Marsh Mellow
