 Delta Performance level 3 Options
So I was looking over my invoice and saw that I have an option for exhaust. I can go with the Voodoo or a Stainless Works. I called up and asked the difference between the two. The nice lady answering the phones said the Voodoo is much louder. Being my wife and kids will do much fishing on the boat, I went with the Stainless Works option. As far as overall performance, how much difference is there between the two? I want performance but am not so motivated about busting ear drums. I already wear hearing aids.
I asked if there were any more options and she said that I could also pay an additional $80 and get after market push-rods. I did not ask, but I assumed they are stronger.

Re: Delta Performance level 3 Options
I don't have either but the internet consensus seems to be that the Stainless Works is a bit quieter than the Voodoo. I too take my family out a lot and intend to get a SW when it's time because everyone says it's a quieter muffler that still gives the hp bump. My motor is all stock but it seems like people have more trouble with pushrods than anything else at the rides I have been to. I've thought about even upgrading the pushrods on my stock motor for more reliability but don't know if the stock valvetrain could handle them.

Both are good options, The Voodoo is going to put out more tq overall due to the 2-1 merge. But typically an exhaust with more flow will be louder. The SW is a great option too that lets the motor breathe more than a stock motor at a more acceptable noise level.

Re: Delta Performance level 3 Options
I did the voodoo for the first 50 hours, while it was fun, it was just too obnoxious for my taste. I am running the SW now, its loud but not as ear busting as the voodoo. I am not sure if the SW has an actual performance difference or if it just sounds a little more sluggish than the voodoo. I changed a bunch of things at the same time so i'm not sure what contributed to my speed loss. I also came back and did the HD push rods after I bent a stock one.
