 Re: Metal Shark
Google swamp shark. It'll give you a bit more detailed info on weights and horsepower. The swamp shark site has been up for a couple years

 Re: Metal Shark
They look awesome.
Looks like they porpoise quite a bit at top speed.

 Re: Metal Shark
This appears to be a cool upgrade to the Arneson drive. They have been around for years, but if I read the propaganda correctly they have developed an electronic system to quickly react to obstructions. Anyone know the price of the smallest hp kit?

 Re: Metal Shark
Looks cool and sounds cool, but with the weight and the space it takes up it makes either duals or an airboat a real alternative.

 Re: Metal Shark
My buddy called swamp shark not metal shark about 5 months ago to get a price on just the outdrive and all components and it was 18k. Swamp Shark turn key was suppose to be from 40k to 60k but people where posting quotes from Metal Shark that was the 175k to 225k. So who really knows how much they going to sell these things for.

 Re: Metal Shark
Its a mythical creature like the Boss 75 and Freedom Outboard Mud Motor. Ain't seen one in the water or mud except on video and to drop that kind of money on one, video just ain't gonna get-r-dun.

 Re: Metal Shark
There suppose to be one going test out the waters in Lake Boeuf Saturday! 7/15/17 I might go feast my eyes on it.

 Re: Metal Shark
Those prices seems a little fucking ridiculous even with the ls1 and the arneson. I suppose the diesel option is a duramax? Still I would say 60k tops.

 Re: Metal Shark
They under contract with the military is what i read.. so all they are doing is cornering the military market for this specific application and screwing the government (kind of ironic i think). Think about it, there's nothing out there close to this thing in size and speed, with the capability of going through just about anything.

 Re: Metal Shark
Seems more of a business item rather than a personal item. It would be a great work rig if you work in nasty conditions. But then again, a big airboat would probably be better and cheaper.
