 broken rod 1848 Gatortail, 37 efi, 38 hours, broke a rod. Anyone have this happen, can you run these engines full throttle? 4250 is the highest rpm the engine will run on my boat.

Im sure its under warranty.
People here run these engines past full throttle.

Re: broken rod Its seems more rare these days but shit does happen. At least you didnt mod it and then it break. Warranty should be straight foward. Whereare you located? Maybe your close to a mudmotor shop

Re: broken rod Warranty covered it no problem, went straight from the launch to the shop, just wondering if this happens often.
