Flatout Replacement Gaskets
They are awesome and they are here! Flatout Gasket Corporation is considered to be one of the premier gasket manufacturers in the world. Flatout is bringing technology to the engine world that no other company has done before. We have been using Flatout Group for 10 years in building gaskets for our high HP applications. We have teamed up again with Flatout to build gaskets for 23 and 35 HP Vanguard engines that vastly surpass the quality of Briggs gaskets at nearly the same price. No more blown and leaky gaskets! Most gaskets are reusable and feature rubber coated metal technology. These gaskets are the best you can get and they are made right here in America. If you are having issues with gaskets, the road stops here. Here is the link: http://www.mudboatmotor.com/html/flatout_gaskets.htmlThanks

Re: Flatout Replacement Gaskets
Which gasket is the case gasket for the 36 PD on your site, is it the Head Gasket or the side cover gasket or another?

Re: Flatout Replacement Gaskets
That would be the side cover gasket (case gasket). Same thing,. All the other gaskets are interchangable between the 2 engines.
Thanks

Re: Flatout Replacement Gaskets
There's about 3 different Briggs case gaskets with different sump alignment pin holes for the 35/36 models.. Are you guys up on all them so we can get the right gasket the 1st time?

Re: Flatout Replacement Gaskets
coondick, the head gasket and the sidecover gasket are the same. The rest of the gaskets are new as well as the 23 stuff. We worked with Flatout to build these new gaskets from scratch.

Re: Flatout Replacement Gaskets
gecker- Whats the thickness of the head gasket compared to the stock one? I have some aftermarket on now that I need to replace and they were a little thicker than the stock. Can't tell from the picture how much those would compress.
Also- do you stock the intake gaskets at the head/intake?

Re: Flatout Replacement Gaskets
deadbird8, sorry if you were trying yesterday. No Kim or Ryan. I had a hell of a time getting the phones and handling the walk ins. Sorry about that. PM me your # and I will call this AM. The head gasket is .058" from memory. The sidecover gaskets are the most common style now.
Thanks
