Toggle switch instead of PTO switch
I'm drawing up a new control box with some new switches and I'm thinking about using a simple toggle for the clutch instead of the PTO switch. Much smaller, can get a 20a if needed. I think that gatortail uses a toggle for their clutch engagement if I remember, but is it wired directly or is it run through a relay? All of my switches are run through a 20a fuse, so if the clutch goes out, the fuse blows and doesn't wreck my switches. But just curious of any info about the toggle.

They are wired straight with no relay.

They're very low current. Want to say less than 5amps when I measured, but it's been a while. Either way, a 20a toggle switch should be more than sufficient.

Re: Toggle switch instead of PTO switch
Good deal and the inline fuse will protect it. I could go DTST on / off switch and still keep the start interlock
