anybody done that? or any opinions on doin so?

better off getting a 09 or newer flywheel, they are already cut out and lighter

I was under the impression that a heavy flywheel isn't necessarily a bad thing, depending on what you're using your motor for. If you're actually using your motor for it's intended purpose, ie running through mud and veggies, you want that extra momentum to keep the prop spinning.
Am I correct or no?
