 van 35 carb question
can i put a 35 van carb on a 29 vanguard? reason is one of the main transfer jets broke and briggs dealers want 170 bucks for a new carb because those jet tubes are not replaceable. i figure i might have to do a lil modifying if it is possible.

 Re: van 35 carb question
Don't have a clue. They could very well be the same carb. Try it. If it fits it'l do!

 Re: van 35 carb question
jbert, it will go right on. You will need to make some adjustments to the throttle rod and the choke rod to make them work properly. No big deal though. You will also need the elbow for filter assembly and you will not be able to use your stock filter assembly that is on the 29 now. You can buy a 35 filter assembly or you can go with a after market filter assembly like the one we sell.
