My belt on my gator tail keeps sliding back towards the transmission, all the teeth on both sprockets are good and the belt isn't stretched out or have any damage to the teeth. I have shimmed the motor up and tried to realign the motor like the gator tail mechanic has said but nothing has worked. Has anyone else had this problem, and does anyone know how to fix it?

Most of the gtr's that i see have the belt running off the back of the top teeth. Dpending on how far back its running it may be normal if the belt is wearing ok

The belt is actually sliding all the way to the transmission and rubbing and squealing, I've tried adjusting it several times with no luck

Is the front shimed more than the back?

No it's not, I've shimmed It every way possible, And when I shim the back end up more the belt gets tight as hell.. So I just put the original shims back under it . GTR said it won't hurt anything, other than the squealing. So I put a little grease on back side of transmission to quiet the squeal, and we're gonna roll with it ..... Hope all ends well !!!!!!

The front of the motor is higher.... Add like .005-.010" shim in the rear only to what you currently have. Off center isn't a big deal, But rubbing the planetary is a bit excessive IMO.
