Delta lvl 2 / lvl 3
I have a 2014 GTR 35. I have been considering mods for more load carrying and a little more speed. I am just curious to see what kind of life you can expect out of these mods. I really like the level 3 numbers but i dont want to sacrifice the life of my motor significantly. Any help?

Re: Delta lvl 2 / lvl 3
To be honest I have no clue to what there Levels consist of. We always referred to mods in stages and Delta does levels for some reason.

Re: Delta lvl 2 / lvl 3
They all fail....just some faster than others. You WILL have issues with modded motors or unmodded....usually just different kinds of issues.
Unmodded or modded, you will have valve related issues - just a modded motor will have better valves than a stock motor.
Case gasket leaks - once you mod, count on the case gasket leak. Keep it stock...much less likely to have an issue.
Keep it stock and run 25-26 mph everywhere you go and struggle with loads. Or, mod it, do 30+ everywhere you go and better handle loads......and accept the fact that you will be performing more maintenance.....preventative and reactive.
