I have a 2006 prodrive with 60 hours. Has dual mikuni carbs, stroker rods, flat pistons, cam, roller rockers and titanium pushrods. One head has a tube coming out that goes nowhere which is called a crankcase breather hose i believe. I have noticed oil drips out of it onto the exhaust when running and checked the oil level and it was low. Added almost a quart to get the level full again. Gets low after about 3 fishing trips. Could the piston rings be bad or would more compression from the mods just cause oil to seap out. Thanks |

Head gasket can case that, rings, or anything that causes excessive case pressure. Get a breather filter from AutoZone and see if that doesn't help, and pull the valve covers to see if you might have a blown head gasket. #CFFITR #TheGhostBoat #whoneedsphysicsihaveamudmotor |
