I got a 2012 Excel with a mud buddy hd 45 bd 2 years ago and ever since I've owned it, there's hardly any fuel in the fuel filter. It stays the same at any rpms. Just wondering if this is normal for these motors or if something is going on that needs to be addressed. Sent from my SM-S727VL using Tapatalk |

You've been running the motor for 2 years now, with no issues. And now you're thinking there's an issue? Like the old saying goes, "If it aint broke, don't fix it". And for the record, yes that's normal. |

The reason for NOT being full is the fuel is drawn in under vaccum. If you have a Fuel pump before the filter it will get full as it is under pressure at that point, But then you run the risk of overflowing the carb by over pressuring the seat. |
