Does any one if their are any companys out there that make after market mods for the subaru 28efi motors? Mine only pushes my boat aroud 25-26mph right now and id like to see about getting it a little faster. |

It would probably be cheaper to sell it and by a big block. |

The only reason im not runing a big block is because im only running it on a 1448 and i got a deal i could pass up on the motor |

That’s about right for that motor. No mods for it to my knowledge, Not even a exhaust out that I know of. |

The boat runs like a scalded dog, I’ve put it through hell and back and just comes back begging for more. I just like to at least get a few more MPH on the top end |

Not any mods available for the Subaru. There was one person that made some exhausts for them but hasn’t ina good while. Only option for more is a block swap. You can put a 35 block on your frame. Or if your trying to stay light weight you can try and fit the Kohler 25 efi to it, and mods are available for it |

Copperhead mud motors was doing some testing on the Mac muffler but haven’t heard results. I’m running the same motor on a copperhead frame. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

MAC exhaust makes mod products for Subaru 28efi. $475 for exhaust kit. Friend told me to find a K&N air filter similar to the Subaru Robin version would help as well. When I find the comparable version, will PM to you the part number. I have a 25GTR Subaru and love it, and was debating on selling due to discontinuation of Subaru's decision to sell them in USA. Gonna keep it, mod it out with exhaust & air filter, and run it til parts are no longer available. |

Jay Dore @ Instagator boats was building exhaust for them also, not sure if he still does. |
