Did a search and came up with nothing... sooo..

Does anyone have any experience or use the "HotShot's" FR3 Friction Reducer oil additive? Does anyone use this in their mudmotors... I few of my buddies use it in their diesel trucks and gas trucks as well.... they swear by it...????

They swear what? That it gives them 20% more hp? 13% more life out of their engine? See where I'm going with this? Many people run the Briggs oil, everyone else runs various shades of whatever is out there. The number of hours you're gonna get out of your engine is going to be effected far more by keeping everything torqued right, changing whatever oil and filter on a halfway reasonable schedule (and yes, 50 hrs is fine), and not running it at 5000 rpms for hours and hours.

should be easy to test if it really removes a noticeable amount of friction. if you know what you idle rpms are on your tach warmed up and out of the water. Change your oil and additive and get it back up to temp and test your out of water idle rpms again, if friction is reduced your rpms should raise.

To be fair you should really test just the test new rpms warmed up and than drain some oil and add the additive and test again so it not just the new oil giving any change in results.
