NEED HELP—35 H.P MudBuddy Mikuni carb
I have 35 horse MudBuddy and I just ran it not even a month ago and it ran fine for a while, then it started backfiring and at full throttle it would almost die. Now every time I pump the bulb gas comes out of the over flow tube on the bottom and it will not start. I took the bolt on the bottom and drained it and put it back in but it still shoots gas out of the over flow tube every time I pump the bulb and the motor will not start. If anyone could please give me some advice I’d greatly appreciate it.

Sounds like a clogged jet, pull the main and remove any debris. Ethanol is hell on these motors, a stabilizer is recommended to keep this from happening.

Overflow from that line is needle/seat related. Remove float , needle then remove the seat. There is a small black oring on the seat. Inspect or replace the oring. Make sure it's clean. If it's an older motor replacing fuel lines is good. When the line starts falling apart inside it puts little black pieces into carb Wich will keep the needle/seat combo from sealing up.
